When in Rome (Part 2)

It was around 38 degrees Celsius during our 2nd day in Rome. Coming from a tropical country,

I thought I’m used to the hot weather… Boy, was I mistaken!  IT WAS HOT!

My mom & dad barely went out of the hotel during the day because of the heat.

While we (my brothers & sister) braved the heat and went out to buy bigger luggages (hehe)  and some gelato.

I was also surprised that shops would close for lunch & some would only open at around 4pm! Siesta, much?

Well, in Italy they call it ‘pausa’ 🙂
